Methyltrenbolone is zo ongeveer het meest levertoxische anabool dat ooit uit de laboratoria is gekomen. Op de boards gaan geruchten dat roekeloze bodybuilders al met het spul - niet een prohormoonversie, maar met the real stuff - aan het klooien zijn. Helemaal als een verrassing komt het berichtje dus niet.

Justitie onderzoekt een dozijn agenten in het Amerikaanse Trenton, die via een tandarts groeihormoon hebben gekocht. Op kosten van hun verzekering.
En dat allemaal in het post-PowerMedica-tijdperk.
"The dentist, J M W of Lake Worth, Fla., is a former New Jersey resident who admitted in federal court last year he illegally sold HGH and other controlled substances, including steroids, over the Internet.
Federal authorities seized W's records and e-mail correspondence and, police sources say, those records led to the Trenton officers.
Part of the investigation allegedly centers on allegations that Trenton officers used their city health insurance plans to pay for the HGH. Police sources have insisted that the only substance city officers obtained was HGH, not the more illicit anabolic steroids.
Authorities allege W maintained a presence on a number of Internet Web sites promoting personal fitness, body building and the use of anabolic steroids and HGH.
In 2001, authorities allege, W began prescribing testosterone and other anabolic steroids such as nandrolone, oxandrolone, stanozolol, as well as prescription human growth hormone for what officials say were hundreds of his personal fitness customers throughout the United States. They also contend he began prescribing drugs to offset the side effects of anabolic steroid abuse for the same customers."

"A major doping ring has been revealed in the Stockholm area, it has been reported. Among the suspects rounded up by police is a top sportsman, who is alleged to have been involved in the supply of anabolic steroids across the country.
Last Tuesday and Wednesday police raided around ten addresses in the Stockholm county, reported Aftonbladet on Sunday. A massive quantity of drug preparations were confiscated by officers.
"It's a very big seizure," said the head of the investigation, Ronnie Jacobsson, to the paper.
Two people suspected of being at the centre of the operation are in police custody. In total, some 30 people are suspected of involvement in the network."

De zoveelste gruwelzaak rond een geflipte anabolengebruiker speelt zich dit keer in Zweden af.
Wij verzamelen nu al een paar jaar nieuwsberichten over 'roid rage. In die periode is ons iets gaan opvallen. We zien een patroon, zeg maar.
Praktisch altijd valt de dader, een man die niet alleen met gewichten traint, maar zich ook nog eens met spierversterkers opvoert, iemand aan die geen partij voor hem is. Nooit - een uitzondering daargelaten - keert een doorgedraaide bodybuilder zich tegen iemand die tegen hem is opgewassen. Een straatvechter is niet interessant voor een bodybuilder met 'roid rage. Een bodyguard evenmin, laat staan een gewapende politieagent.
Dat soort zaken vinden we niet in onze groeiende verzameling knipsels. Daarin vinden we wel gevallen waarin kinderen het slachtoffer worden van de doorgedraaide spierbundels. Soms zijn het zelfs nog baby's. Vaak zijn het vrouwen. Echtgenotes en vriendinnen van anabolengebruikers zijn risicogroepen. Soms het zijn argeloze voorbijgangers.
Misdaden van doorgedraaide anabolengebruikers zijn in de regel laf.

Was it always Dianabol back then? Also, did bodybuilders back then know about gyno? I've never seen pictures of a bodybuilder with gyno from back in those days. Mostly 1980's onwards. Why is that?"
